Brenda joined the lab in the Fall of 2023 working on the SecureIT research project and helping to conduct research studies with the NC Math & Science Education Network. A Chancellors Leadership Fellow, Brenda graduated summa cum laude in 2024 with her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and gave the Class of 2024 commencement speech. She is also the first student to graduate with a graduate certificate in Engineering Education.
